Personnel Eric
Kroeger, President Eric Kroeger founded Waretech, Inc. in 1987 as a technology consultancy focusing on the specialized networking needs of community banks. After 15 years, the company still focuses on the needs of financial institutions, but has broadened its client base to include companies of many types. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He holds certifications with several networking companies, including the Certified NetWare Engineer (CNE) from Novell. Eric specializes in Network Design, communications technologies, network management, and bank network security. Eric was a faculty member of the Bank Administrative Institute from 1998 - 2002 and presented on the use of E-mail, Intranet, and WAN technologies in banking. Eric resides in Chesterton, Indiana, with his wife and two daughters. Paul
Kroeger, Vice President – Senior Consultant Paul Kroeger joined Waretech in 1990. In his capacity as software specialist, Paul has delivered messaging solutions for over forty community banks and trust companies. His specialization includes collaboration solutions, server and desktop virtualization, data replication, and directory design. Paul has extensive experience and certifications with products from VMWare, Microsoft and Novell, as well as numerous Internet solutions and third party products. Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He holds certifications from several networking companies, including the Novell CNE. He lives in Chesterton, Indiana, with his wife and two children. Jason
Mikolanis – Senior Consultant / Security Specialist Jason Mikolanis joined Waretech as a consultant in early 2001. Jason has developed significant expertise in network security, network management, and virus protection. Jason has been formally trained on Novell ZenWorks, Symantec Security Products, and Symantec/Bindview network assessment software. He has also been certified as a Cisco CCNA and has CISCO PIX certification. Jason graduated from Robert Morris College with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Technology and a minor in Business Administration. Jason also played varsity baseball while attending college. He currently resides in Schererville, Indiana with his wife, Jodie, and son. Jason
McDaniel – Vice President, Senior Consultant Jason McDaniel joined Waretech as a consultant in October of 2001. Prior to joining Waretech, Jason spent several years working as a trust and investment officer for a community bank, and then four years working for an independent trust company. Jason received his Bachelors Degree in Business Management from the Indiana University School of Business. He later received his Masters Degree in Information Systems Management from the Keller Graduate School of Management. Jason specializes in Windows Server Operating Systems, remote server management, and VMWare server virtualization. He has delivered virtualization solutions that provide high uptime and recoverability to numerous organizations. Jason has been certified in VMWare Virtual Infrastructure and Citrix Metaframe application deployment. Jason resides in Michigan City, Indiana, with his wife, son and daughter. Daniel
R. Bruss – Network Consultant Dan Bruss joined Waretech in 2002 as a network support specialist. Prior to joining Waretech, Dan spent 11 years with Sand Ridge Bank, in Highland, Indiana. Dan has worked extensively with Novell NetWare and GroupWise solutions and has achieved CCNA and CSMB certification from Cisco. Dan has also been trained on E-mail management, including virus and SPAM filtering solutions for GroupWise. Dan has developed significant expertise in the management of dental and orthodontic technology. Dan graduated from Purdue University with a degree in General Management. He currently resides in Valparaiso, Indiana, with his wife Michelle. Charla
Norgaard – Office Manager Charla Norgaard joined Waretech in 2002. She has several years of experience in office support and bookkeeping. Charla resides in Chesterton, Indiana, with her husband, Jim, and their five children. Steve Rigg – Network Consultant
Steve Rigg joined Waretech in 2002. Prior to joining Waretech, Steve worked for 20+ years as a system administrator and application specialist for Ugimag, in Valparaiso, Indiana. Steve has a strong background in database technology and web application development. Steve has been involved in the creation and management of several web sites, including an intranet application using Metadot Business Portal. Steve’s expertise includes application integration, application security and audit. Steve resides in Valparaiso, Indiana, with his wife Darlene. Andrew Verheaghe – Network Consultant
Andy Verheaghe joined Waretech in 2004. Andy has a strong background in network infrastructure, telephony and VoIP technology. Currently, Andy manages a voice and data network that that integrates remote offices in several states. He has strong background in Cisco's Switching and Routing, Call Manager, MeetingPlace and Unity products. Andy has been formally trained on many network technology products, and has achieved CCNA and CSMB certification from Cisco. Andy resides in Chesterton, Indiana with his wife Laura and their three children. Michael Lawson – Network Consultant Michael Lawson joined Waretech in 2004. Prior to joining Waretech, Michael worked as a Novell network specialist for R.R. Donnelly, in Chicago. He has a strong background in server and desktop configuration, management and support. Michael has been formally trained on many network technology products, and currently manages the help desk for U.S. Fiduciary Services, Inc. Michael resides in Montgomery, Illinois with his wife Tammy and their two children. John Nelson – Network Server Specialist
John Nelson joined Waretech in 2005. Prior to joining Waretech, John worked as a Linux server specialist for Argonne National Labs in Chicago. He has a strong background in Open Source technology, and is a specialist in Linux server configuration, management and support. John has been formally trained on many network technology products, and currently holds certifications from Red Hat and Novell. John also has significant experience with MAC and Linux server and desktop products. John resides in Munster, Indiana with his wife Erin and three children. |
