Personnel Eric
Kroeger, President Eric Kroeger founded Waretech, Inc. in 1987 as a technology consultancy focusing on the specialized networking needs of community banks. After 15 years, the company still focuses on the needs of financial institutions, but has broadened its client base to include companies of many types. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He holds certifications with several networking companies, including the Certified NetWare Engineer (CNE) from Novell. Eric specializes in Network Design, communications technologies, network management, and bank network security. Eric was a faculty member of the Bank Administrative Institute from 1998 - 2002 and presented on the use of E-mail, Intranet, and WAN technologies in banking. Eric resides in Chesterton, Indiana, with his wife and two daughters. Paul
Kroeger, Vice President – Software Specialist Paul Kroeger joined Waretech in 1990. In his capacity as software specialist, Paul has delivered messaging solutions for over forty community banks and trust companies. His specialization includes collaboration solutions, network management, directory design, and security examination. Paul has extensive experience with products from Microsoft, Novell, and Norton, as well as numerous Internet solutions and third party products. Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He holds certifications from several networking companies, including the Novell CNE. He lives in Chesterton, Indiana, with his wife and two children. Jason
Mikolanis – Network Security Specialist Jason Mikolanis joined Waretech as a consultant in early 2001. Jason has developed significant expertise in network security, network management, and virus protection. Jason has been formally trained on Novell ZenWorks, Symantec Antivirus, and Bindview network assessment software. He has also been certified as a Cisco CCNA and has CISCO PIX certification. Jason graduated from Robert Morris College with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Technology and a minor in Business Administration. Jason also played varsity baseball while attending college. He currently resides in Schererville, Indiana with his wife, Jodie, and son. Jason
McDaniel – Network Consultant Jason McDaniel joined Waretech as a consultant in October of 2001. Prior to joining Waretech, Jason spent several years working as a trust and investment officer for a community bank, and then four years working for an independent trust company. Jason received his Bachelors Degree in Business Management from the Indiana University School of Business. He later received his Masters Degree in Information Systems Management from the Keller Graduate School of Management. Jason specializes in remote server management. He has been formally trained on several management products, including Novell’s ZenWorks and Dell’s Open Management system. Jason has also been certified in Citrix Metaframe application deployment. Jason resides in Michigan City, Indiana, with his wife, son and daughter. Daniel
R. Bruss – Network Consultant Dan Bruss joined Waretech in 2002 as a network support specialist. Prior to joining Waretech, Dan spent 11 years with Sand Ridge Bank, in Highland, Indiana. Dan has worked extensively with Novell NetWare and GroupWise solutions and has recently achieved CCNA certification from Cisco. Dan has also been trained on E-mail management, including virus and SPAM filtering solutions for GroupWise. Dan graduated from Purdue University with a degree in General Management. He currently resides in Valparaiso, Indiana, with his wife Michelle. Charla
Norgaard – Office Manager Charla Norgaard joined Waretech in 2002. She has several years of experience in office support and bookkeeping. Charla resides in Chesterton, Indiana, with her husband, Jim, and their five children. Steve Rigg – Application and Database Specialist
Steve Rigg joined Waretech in 2002. Prior to joining Waretech, Steve worked for 25 years as a network administrator and application specialist for Magnequench (formerly Indiana General), a manufacturing operation in Valparaiso, Indiana. Steve has extensive background with the Unix operating system, and has experience with database development and web development tools. Steve resides in Valparaiso, Indiana, with his wife Darlene. They have four children. Andrew Verheaghe – Communication Specialist and Network Consultant
Andy Verheaghe joined Waretech in 2004. Prior to joining Waretech, Andy worked for several years with as a networking and QOS specialist with Sound, Inc., a voice and data communications company in Naperville, Illinois. Andy has experience with phone system technology, and has been formally trained on voice and data products from Cisco Systems. Andy resides in Chesterton, Indiana with his wife Laura and their three children. John Nelson – Linux Specialist and Network Consultant
John Nelson joined Waretech in 2006. Prior to joining Waretech, John worked for several years with as a Linux Server Manager with Argonne National Labs in Chicago, Illinois. John has significant operating system, security and management experience with server products. John is formally trained on data products from Cisco Systems, and holds the Red Hat Engineer Certification from Red Hat. John resides in Munster, Indiana with his wife Erin and their two children. Michael Lawson – Network Consultant Michael Lawson joined Waretech in 2005. Prior to joining Waretech, Mike worked for RR Donnely as a network administrator and help desk specialist. Mike has experience with several networking products and system management tools. He has been formally trained on network products from Novell and Microsoft. Mike resides in Montgomery, Illinois with his wife Tammera and their two children. |
