Waretech, Inc. was founded in 1987 as a consulting firm specializing in computer networking technology. For the last 20 years, Waretech has been providing network design, security and recovery consulting services to companies in the Midwest. In 2006, Waretech joined forces with U.S. Fiduciary Service, Inc., an employee-owned financial services company. Waretech is committed to developing and maintaining long term relationships with its clients, employees and business partners.

Networks must be secure, reliable, and recoverable. They are mission critical, and they must support a company’s many business applications. These applications include voice, data, messaging, imaging, and video. Waretech designs secure and reliable networks, and network recovery is a key consideration in the design process. Waretech often participates in a client’s Business Continuity Planning process. System backup, and more importantly system recovery are vital parts of the business continuity process.

Although Waretech services clients in many industries, the Company has developed significant expertise in two industries. Waretech currently services more than 25 financial institutions in six states. Waretech employees understand the unique system needs of financial institutions; our technology consultants stay current on critical issues like the Gramm-Leach Bliley Act, information security recommendations from the FFIEC, business continuity planning requirements, and other regulatory issues. This focus on security and privacy allows other types of companies to benefit from Waretech’s services, as well.

In 2001, Waretech began developing specialization within the dental industry. Waretech provides technology services to many orthodontic and dental practices in Northern Indiana. These practices have sophisticated technology needs such as imaging, communications, practice- management and information security. Waretech has detailed knowledge of specialty products from dental/orthodontic system providers like Kodak, Dentrix, Dolphin, Gendex, Eaglesoft, and Onex.

Waretech has vast experience with most major system environments including Microsoft Windows desktop and server, Cisco Systems voice and data, Novell OES, Directory Services, Messaging, Linux / Open Source, IBM 3270/5250, and secure Internet connectivity. Waretech consultants are formally trained on products from most major networking vendors. In fact, Waretech employees spend up to 20 percent of their time learning and staying current with network technologies.

Waretech offers a single source of service to companies implementing a variety of hardware and software products from multiple vendors. In Waretech’s 20 years of service to financial institutions, the Company has developed relationships with many prominent software vendors. Waretech has working knowledge of the CSI host environment, Northern Trust/Fi-Tek’s TrustRite application, various Fiserv applications, Metavante’s host environment, and many other specialty applications.
